Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Specter Portfolio. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership. You’ll create and execute Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure flawless execution from the front end through contract closure.  

This position requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment. In this role, a proactive approach is critical to support the program with material strategies and procurements, as well as build and maintain strong supplier relationships.

What You Will Do

·         Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.

·         Assisting with the review and SCM inputs of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)

·         Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes

·         Creating Request for material, and short text purchase requests (RFM/STPR)

·         Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.

·         Being familiar with and reference applicable policies and procedures to perform MPM tasks

·         Working closely with production control and procurement to orchestrate tasking handoffs

·         Working closely with the program cross functional teams for any supply chain requests.

·         Facilitating the creation or updates of PIA’s and/or NDA’s for new suppliers.

·         Working closely with Procurement to streamline the cycle time for PO placement.

·         Ability to travel 20%

Qualifications You Must Have

·         Typically requires a university Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

·         Minimum 3 years experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement

·         Experience in SAP

·         Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

·         Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).

·         Experience in material requirements planning (MRP) and/or Logistics.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
