Description
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake design and engineering of water supply and distribution systems, including transmission mains, distribution networks, pumping systems, reservoirs and associated infrastructure.
- Carry out hydraulic modelling and analysis for water supply networks and transmission systems.
- Prepare hydraulic calculations, design reports, technical notes and engineering documentation.
- Develop and review layouts, profiles, schematics and detailed engineering drawings.
- Prepare design criteria, technical specifications, BOQs and tender documentation.
- Review existing water supply systems and identify requirements for augmentation, rehabilitation and improvement.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, SCADA and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated designs.
- Review drawings and technical submissions from consultants, contractors and vendors.
- Support preparation of feasibility studies, DPRs, tender documents and detailed project reports.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable Indian standards, project specifications and relevant international standards, wherever applicable.
- Assist in site visits, surveys and technical assessments as required.
- Participate in client meetings and technical discussions and incorporate agreed comments into the design.
- Provide technical support during construction and respond to RFIs/design clarifications.
- Ensure deliverables are completed within the agreed timelines and quality requirements.
