Salary: $160,000.00 to $185,000.00 plus quarterly incentive bonus
HealthCare Recruiters International is recruiting a Branch Leader for hospice services to work for a nationally recognized hospice and home healthcare organization.
A
Hospice Executive Director Qualifications:
- Current licensed RN- CA
- Working knowledge of computer programs, especially Microsoft Office Suite products and EMR systems
- Meet the regulations and requirements of the state of California for hospice services.
- Experience overseeing a hospice branch including profit and loss as well as clinical oversight
Responsibilities:
- Ensure hospice follows all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, including;
- Compliance, maintenance and submission of all required reports and records to Federal, State,
accreditation, and Local regulatory departments - Maintaining accreditation, when applicable
- Maintaining a state of survey readiness
- Provide leadership and oversight to support growth through strategic implementation of relationship expansion plans
in collaboration with the Business Development teams - Manage overall financial performance of the program site which includes oversight of all controllable costs
- Participating in annual development of the program site’s budget
- Organize, manage, and administer hospice resources to provide hospice care and services to patients, families,
and caregivers necessary for the palliation and management of the terminal illness and related conditions - Is responsible for the day-to-day hospice operations
- Ensures the hospice offers a coordinated plan of care for all patients/families while maintaining overall management
of care - Ensures care provided optimizes the patient and family’s comfort and dignity
- Ensures care provided is consistent with patient and family needs
and goals, with the patient’s needs and goals as a priority
