*Expected Starting Pay Range

$56,846.40 - $72,488.00

*Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on‑call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.


 

As a Telehealth Specialist, you will play a key operational role in supporting and maintaining Cincinnati Children's Digital Care & Telehealth services. In this fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will coordinate day-to-day telehealth operations by monitoring services, managing vendor support tickets, facilitating meetings, maintaining documentation, and supporting established telehealth use cases. You will serve as a liaison between clinical, operational, technical, and external partners by coordinating communication channels, documenting meeting outcomes, and helping resolve operational issues. You will also support Go Lives and lead straightforward service launches, execute approved operational requests, and participate in an on-call rotation to help ensure the continued success and reliability of telehealth services. This role may also support Digital Care operations and products, including video visits, asynchronous care, agentic AI, and other emerging virtual care technologies. This position follows a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of one day per week onsite.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordination

  • Facilitate internal meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, tracking action items, and following up on deliverables.

  • Create and maintain Microsoft Teams channels and collaboration spaces to support effective communication across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Coordinate vendor support tickets and collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate timely issue resolution.

  • After training, demonstrates the ability to support Phase 2 initiatives and straightforward telehealth launches by coordinating operational activities and ensuring implementation readiness.

  • Serve as an internal resource and liaison to staff, physicians/faculty, and external stakeholders for issues related to the program.

  • Coordinate governance activities for new telehealth use cases.

 

Oversight

  • Monitor and respond to situations that affect daily operations in the Center for Telehealth.

  • Conduct call monitoring for digital care services.

  • Provide ongoing operational support for established telehealth use cases by responding to questions, managing issues, and escalating enhancement requests when appropriate.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support telehealth operations and ensure continuity of service.

 

Program Management

  • Serve as a training resource for providers and staff working in telehealth.

  • Identify and prioritize ongoing educational/training needs and recommend solutions as required.

  • Responsible for documentation.

Communication

  • Demonstrate competence in video conferencing.

  • Effectively communicate with team members and contribute to their growth by sharing knowledge, experience, and skills.

  • Stay abreast of changes in key systems.

  • Serve as a resource to the department in specific area(s).

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while collaborating with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor partners.

  • Effectively prioritize work and adapt in a fast-paced environment while balancing structured processes with evolving operational needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • 0+ years of experience in a related job discipline.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience coordinating projects, meetings, or operational initiatives in a collaborative team environment.

  • Familiarity with vendor management and working within ticketing or service management systems.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Forms.

  • Experience creating or maintaining documentation, knowledge articles, or standard operating procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Strong customer service skills with experience supporting clinical, operational, or technical stakeholders.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues.

  • Knowledge of healthcare operations or clinical workflows.

  • Experience supporting virtual meeting platforms, collaboration tools, or Digital Care technologies.

  • Experience supporting telehealth, digital health, or healthcare technology solutions.
