Overview
A busy Brooklyn couple is in search of a hands on house manager to help with their daily life so they can focus on their work and enjoying life!
Location & Hybrid Schedule
- The default schedule will be on-site on Mondays and Fridays, and working from home Tuesday through Thursday. This is to minimize disruption while one principal will be WFH.
- The household manager will still need to be flexible for vendor visits or other on-site needs on remote days. However, they will be responsible for scheduling these visits.
Responsibilities
- The role will be roughly:
- 75% household management (maintenance, organization, keeping supplies stocked)
- 20% personal assistant tasks (laundry, dry cleaning, travel logistics, package returns, car maintenance, booking appointments, managing mail, and shopping research)
- 5% entertaining support (prepping for guests and coordinating parties)
- The right candidate will primarily manage vendors and ensure work is completed properly, but they must also be willing to step in and handle tasks directly (like light tidying, simple maintenance, or errands) when it is more practical.
- Property management services for homes in the Hudson Valley and San Francisco, household manager may occasionally assist- such as conducting regular virtual walkthroughs.
- The manager may eventually oversee an individual cleaner that will be hired directly
Qualifications
- Comfortable overseeing blue-collar work (can understand what HVAC mechanic is talking about)
- Organized (we'd be able to look at a spreadsheet to see who the landscaper currently is)
- Willing to do some tasks yourself rather than finding a service/vendor for everything
Requirements
- Ok to work around one small dog
- Highly organized
- Someone who can manage open items, maintain detailed spreadsheets, and create maintenance calendars so nothing falls through the cracks.

- A strong preference for someone with a few years of experience in a similar role.
