Commercial Lines Placement Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Placement Specialist to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in marketing and servicing commercial lines accounts, who thrives in a collaborative, family-owned, and tech-focused environment. As a key member of team, you will play a pivotal role in marketing new and renewal business, as well as managing new leads and driving them to closure.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (flexible for highly qualified candidates)

Responsibilities
- Market and place both new and renewal commercial lines business with carriers.
- Collaborate with carriers to ensure optimal coverage and pricing for clients.
- Manage and nurture new leads, guiding them through the sales process to closure.
- Maintain and update client information in Salesforce (training provided if needed).
- Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with the Commercial Lines team to support departmental goals and initiatives.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience:
- Proven experience working with carriers and marketing commercial lines business.
- Familiarity with handling smaller, generalist accounts.
- Skills:
- Strong marketing and sales acumen, with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce is a plus, but not required (training available).
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
