ROLE SUMMARY

The PAVE (Portfolio Alternative Value Enablement) team is an exciting new Business Unit in the US Commercial organization. PAVE was formed to enable continued patient access by maximizing value in mature, alliance and royalty assets. PAVE accomplishes this goal by changing asset trajectories by using innovative, lean, AI-enabled go-to-market models that unlock potential. Our team operates with a bold, ambitious and financially focused portfolio mindset. The Marketing Director, PAVE Oncology is a strategic brand marketing role focused on promoted oncology brands within the PAVE portfolio. Currently, the team’s promoted portfolio brands include some of Pfizer’s most established oncology brands — Bosulif, Inlyta, Mylotarg, Besponsa, and Xalkori. The Marketing Director will play a critical role driving holistic brand strategy and execution for brand(s) in the portfolio, including through promotional collaboration with our third-party partner, Indegene. In addition, the Marketing Director will lead initiatives exploring new brand and commercial opportunities, potentially related to new customer groups, promotional approaches, or third-party partnerships.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketer to help build a new commercial model from the ground up while delivering value and maximizing long-term impact for PAVE and for the enterprise.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand & Portfolio Strategy

  • Partner with PAVE Oncology lead and team to drive brand marketing/ omnichannel strategy for each brand within the PAVE Oncology portfolio, and the overall portfolio, grounded in customer insight, competitive dynamics, and performance data
  • Translate business performance, market trends, and customer insights into content strategies, promotional plans, and channel investment decisions

Partner Collaboration & GTM Innovation

  • Guide externalized content development end-to-end, including MLR—ensuring HCP and patient materials are on strategy, compliant, and compelling
  • Lead day-to-day engagement with our 3rd-party partner (Indegene) for assigned workstreams and initiatives—setting expectations, ensuring quality, and keeping delivery on track.
  • Actively contribute to driving and evolving PAVE’s innovative, AI-enabled go-to-market model, including new approaches to content generation, targeting, and promotion
  • Creatively design and lead initiatives to drive innovation and explore new commercial approaches (i.e., new tactics, customer groups, or promotional approaches)

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Build and maintain a strong stakeholder network across Medical, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, Compliance, CMO, and others, to keep brand plans moving
  • Champion best practices and share learnings across the PAVE Oncology team and the broader PAVE community
  • Model Pfizer Values and Actionable Attitudes as a visible, trusted leader within a highly matrixed, fast-evolving commercial model

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A BA/BS with at least 8 years of experience, an MBA/MS with at least 7 years of experience, a PhD/JD with at least 5 years of experience, or an MD/DVM with at least 4 years of experience is required for this role.
  • Successful US brand marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven experience developing compelling, compliant promotional content and guiding it through MLR review and GCMA approval
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to translate customer insights, market trends, and performance data into brand strategy
  • Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, ideally in a matrixed environment
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and building new processes within an evolving commercial model
  • Demonstrated curiosity and openness to AI-enabled marketing tools, analytics, and data-driven approaches
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into actionable insights for diverse audiences
  • Champion for Pfizer Values and Actionable Attitudes with an absolute commitment to integrity and compliance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Oncology therapeutic area experience strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of US and Pfizer promotional standards
  • Expertise with specialty pharmacies, patient services, and/or promotion of buy and bill products
  • Proven leadership of innovative commercial efforts to drive a brand or portfolio forward
  • Experience managing mature, established, limited-promotion, or non-promoted pharmaceutical brands

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Travel as required, up to 15% of time

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
