Job Summary
The Recruiter will research, develop, and execute effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract, engage, and hire qualified talent for full-time and part-time positions across Vinik Sports Group. Key responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for Business Operations and Arena Operations roles, while partnering closely with hiring managers to identify workforce needs and implement targeted recruitment strategies. The Recruiter will ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, strengthen the organization's employment brand, and deliver a world-class candidate and employee experience. In addition, this role will support onboarding activities, employee lifecycle audits, and recruitment reporting to help drive the efficient operation of the People Operations department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop compliant job descriptions, and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers through employment data, metrics, and best practices
- Enhance the recruitment process through development of innovative, creative, and proactive recruiting strategies to meet the business needs of each assigned department
- Assist with the tracking of recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring outcomes, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
- Provide full cycle recruiting to ensure a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates (including posting positions, reviewing applications, screening, and managing logistics of the interview process)
- Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation of candidate and recruiting activities to ensure legal compliance with employment best practices, policies, processes, and applicable laws
- Coordinate candidate logistics (i.e., travel) and all interview schedules
- Develop innovative and creative strategies for job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach for large volume seasonal hiring
- Leverage various resources to source qualified candidates including the internet, job fairs, community-based organizations, print media, formal/informal networks, and sports/entertainment network
- Manage the biweekly staffing and requisition reports
- Coordinate onboarding processes through Workday, ensuring accurate completion of new hire documentation, seamless onboarding experience, and compliance with organizational requirements
- Participate in special People Operations projects and process improvement initiatives
- Support employer branding initiatives by creating and maintaining recruitment marketing content across various platforms and community partnerships.
- Assist with audits of employee records and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Maintain and update the organization's career website to ensure job postings, employer branding content, and recruitment marketing materials are current, accurate, and reflective of the Vinik Sports Group employment brand.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
- 3-5 years’ experience in high volume recruiting
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; experience with Workday strongly preferred
- Thorough understanding of HR principals, techniques, and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Results oriented and strong customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional attitude and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena environment that can be exciting, loud and distracting
- This is an onsite role; flexibility to work a minority of time remotely.
- Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as needed

- Ability to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Ability to commute to various venues throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area
