We are seeking a talented Associate Scientist to join our Product Biochemistry group, supporting the characterization, modification, conjugation, purification, and binding analysis of critical reagents used across multiple therapeutic programs, in an on-site capacity. In this role, you will perform advanced characterization of biological reagents using biochemical, biophysical, and binding-based analytical techniques, including Biacore (SPR), to generate high-quality data that supports reagent program needs and lifecycle management, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project timelines and reagent-related deliverables.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.

When & where:

What you'll do:

  • Support the purification, characterization, modification, and conjugation of critical protein and biomolecule reagents using standard analytical methods and laboratory procedures

  • Perform advanced characterization of reagents to evaluate identity, purity, stability, aggregation, binding properties, and overall fitness for intended use

  • Perform reagent labeling and modification activities to support assay development, method qualification, and reagent supply needs

  • Perform binding characterization studies using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) and other analytical platforms to evaluate molecular interactions and reagent performance

  • Accurately document laboratory activities, experimental procedures, and analytical results in the electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) following established procedures

  • Communicate experimental findings and project updates to the supervisor and team members in a timely manner; summarize results in clear, concise reports and presentations

  • Present findings at group meetings and contribute to scientific discussions and problem-solving efforts

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and support laboratory instrumentation necessary for reagent characterization and analytical testing

The environment and physical rhythms of this role:

  • This is an on-site, hands-on laboratory role requiring the ability to work both independently and within a team on multiple projects simultaneously

  • The role includes contributing to lab equipment maintenance and safety practices to help maintain a safe, effective, and efficient working environment

Let's find out if we're a fit:

Must-haves:

  • BS/MS in Biochemistry, Biophysics, or a related field, with 0–3+ years of experience

  • Fundamental understanding of protein structure/function, protein-protein interaction, and general biochemistry

  • Experience working in the biopharmaceutical industry

Thrive today. Grow tomorrow.
