SAP TM Lead / Architect

We are looking for a senior SAP Transportation Management Lead / Architect to support a major S/4HANA logistics transformation programme.

This is a mainly remote contract role, with occasional onsite presence in Germany.

 

Role Overview

You will lead the design and architecture of SAP TM processes across inbound and outbound transportation. The role requires someone who can take ownership of solution design, guide technical decisions and support complex integration across SAP logistics modules.

 

Contract Details

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Initial contract to end of year, with extension expected
• Location: Mainly remote, occasional onsite in Germany
• Workload: Full-time
• Languages: German and English

 

Required Experience

• Strong experience with SAP Transportation Management
• Good knowledge of S/4HANA Embedded TM
• Experience across inbound and outbound transport processes
• Strong understanding of TM integration with MM, SD and EWM
• Experience with SAP template, rollout or transformation programmes
• Ability to lead workshops and make structured solution decisions
• Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Fluent German and English

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP TM solution design and architecture
• Support the development of a central logistics template
• Design inbound and outbound transportation processes
• Work across Freight Units, Freight Orders, planning, execution and settlement
• Design integrations with SAP MM, SD and EWM
• Run workshops and support key solution decisions
• Prepare functional concepts and implementation specifications
• Support interfaces, enhancements and complex issue resolution
• Guide consultants and development teams during delivery, testing and rollout
