Role Overview:
As an Enrollment/Billing Representative, you’ll play a key role in reducing accounts receivable by following standard procedures to edit, bill, and collect payment on basic claims. This role requires foundational knowledge of billing and collections, with general supervision or routine tasks
What You’ll Do:
Prepares and reviews claims for billing accuracy.
Edit and submit claims following standard operating procedures.
Follow up on outstanding accounts and pursue collections from payers and patients
Escalates complex or delinquent claims to the Senior Specialist for appropriate action.
Audit accounts for compliance and accuracy.
Support banking functions, including account setup, reconciliation, and payment processing
What We’re Looking For:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 2+ years in billing, collections, or call center environments preferred
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to navigate and manage multiple systems simultaneously.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information with clarity and empathy.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and accuracy skills
High level of integrity in handling confidential information
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and a high-volume workload
Self-starter and collaborative team player with a strong focus on quality and service
Skilled in managing complex billing inquiries
Familiarity with Co-Pay Assistance programs (an asset)
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Resilient and adaptable, able to maintain a positive attitude and professionalism when transitioning from challenging calls
Work Environment:
Reliable internet connectivity and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace.
Availability to work within the Contact Center operating hours
Commitment: Strong commitment to attendance and schedule adherence
Training: 100% participation required
First 90 Days: 100% attendance during the initial production period
