Ultrasound Systems EngineerJob Description
You will be a part of the Acoustics and Workflow Team in Ultrasound Research & Development. You will be responsible for coordinating and driving Clinical and Acoustic activities in support of New Product Development and Launch activities.
Your role:
- Coordinating, budgeting, and scheduling project activities using appropriate project management techniques, technical judgment and interpersonal skills
- Collaborating with cross-functional team to plan and manage clinical studies. Preparing for various documentations in accordance with regulatory and quality system requirements
- Developing tools and leading initiatives to simplify the logistics management of clinical studies to improve the efficiency and predictability of the study completion on a defined schedule and budget
- Leading and participating in periodic project meetings, design reviews, and preparing and communicating project overviews and status to program management
You're the right fit if:
- Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Acoustics, Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; or
- Master’s degree in one of the above fields with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in signal and/or image processing, filter design, and linear/nonlinear acoustic wave propagation.
- You have proven experience in Ultrasound imaging, beamforming, acquisition design, acoustic wave propagation theory, and clinical laboratory experience.
- You’re able to collaborate with cross-functional team members, including Research, Marketing and Product Management.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Bothell, WA is $115,000 to $182,000.00.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
