Our colleagues work together and celebrate together. If you want to advance the world of fintech, we’d like to ask you: Are you FIS?

We are currently looking for a Senior Scheme Fee Analyst to support our TSYS business.

About the role:

The Scheme Fee Analyst monitors, interprets and validates card scheme fees across the company’s ATM acquiring and issuing business. The role analyzes fee updates from Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Diners Club/Discover and American Express, reconciles self-calculated fees against scheme invoices, and helps ensure fee changes are implemented accurately, billing discrepancies are resolved, and margins are protected.

What you will be doing:

  • Monitor card scheme communications and assess new or amended fees, rules and effective dates.
  • Translate scheme documentation into clear internal fee rules, calculation logic and implementation requirements.
  • Coordinate with Product, Pricing, Legal, Finance and IT to implement fee changes accurately and on time.
  • Maintain current and historical fee catalogues by scheme, fee type and card product.
  • Calculate expected scheme and interchange fees using transaction data, fee schedules and scheme rules.
  • Reconcile calculated fees against scheme invoices and settlement reports, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Manage fee disputes, recurring reporting, audit evidence and communication of financial impact to stakeholders.
  • Improve fee pricing, allocation and reconciliation processes through cross-functional collaboration and automation.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in card payments, acquiring, issuing, scheme fee management or a comparable area; ATM acquiring experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of card scheme economics and Visa and Mastercard fee structures; exposure to JCB, Diners Club/Discover or American Express is beneficial.
  • Ability to interpret scheme fee guides, bulletins and rule changes and translate them into clear calculation logic.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with experience handling large transaction datasets and resolving billing discrepancies.
  • Advanced Excel skills; SQL, scripting or automation experience is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, a structured approach and the ability to manage multiple scheme-driven deadlines independently.
  • Strong English and Czech communication skills, with confidence collaborating across Finance, IT, Product and Legal.

What we offer you:

At FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career. Our benefits include:

  • Competitive salary and excellent incentive compensation structure
  • A modern, international work environment and a dedicated and motivated team
  • The chance to work on some of the most challenging, relevant issues in financial services & technology
  • External and internal trainings
