SUMMARY:

Primary job functions is to weigh dry and liquid components that produce Organosols (QSP #10) and Predispersions (QSP #06) to meet scheduled requirements in accordance with Safety and Quality Standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ability to follow written Q.S.P’S and S.O.P’S that apply to the Job Requirement.
• Use manual and digital scales and common measuring devices in order to weigh materials such as pigments, plasticizers, stabilizers, polyvinylchloride, DIBK and xylene.
• Handling Hazardous Waste and following procedures.
• Operate and maintain 3 Roll Milling Equipment.
• Filter organosols for impurities using Pump and Canister Filtration Equipment.
• Transport material into and out of the work area.
• Clean pumps, tanks and other equipment used in the Compounding Processes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and skilled at weights and measures. Six months of previous manufacturing and forklift experience.

Pay Transparency

The current pay rate for this position is $20.75 per hour. Rate of pay will depend on factors such as market conditions and location, job-related knowledge and skills, education, training and experience. If hired, employment will be at will.
