Job Description:
The job is responsible for complex tax planning, forecasting, and/or advisory activities. Key responsibilities include complying with complex tax reporting requirements of various governmental jurisdictions minimizing tax liabilities, researching tax issues, developing effective tax optimization, and providing business unit support to business partners on complex issues. Job expectations include managing highly complex business partner relationships and having in-depth subject-matter expertise in relevant areas.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes and interprets more complex tax laws and regulations

• Assists in the preparation of complex tax planning and compliance strategies

• Reviews federal, state, and local tax returns

• Researches and analyzes more complex tax issues

• Oversees the preparation of tax compliance and reporting requirements

• Reviews tax estimates and projections

• Identifies and implements process improvements

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ Years in Public Accounting, Law Firm and/or Corporate Tax Department with a focus on Corporate Taxation

• Professional designations:        Prefer, though not required, Certified Public Accountant or Attorney-at-Law

Minimum Education Requirement:

• Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or Juris Doctor
