Summary
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Forklift Driver to support our replenishment operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and order availability by breaking case packs and restocking pick bins with loose product. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at height, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM. Overtime opportunities available and may be required based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Cherry Picker (Order Picker) forklift and Stand-Up Reach forklift safely and efficiently.
- Safely secure and transport loads at elevation (up to 30 feet).
- Pull and replenish product from overstock locations to pick bins; break open cases into individual units as needed.
- Handle products with precision to maintain accuracy and prevent damage.
- Use RF scanner to track inventory movements and ensure real-time updates.
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any issues or concerns.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Support general warehouse functions as needed.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1+ year of Cherry Picker experience required – must be comfortable operating at elevated heights.
- Experience using RF scanners.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Attention to detail is a must – this role directly impacts order accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work full-time, 40+ hours per week
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to stand, twist, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Able to successfully complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Primarily inside climate controlled building
