Let’s Talk about the Role
The Site Operations Manager will lead the operational execution of offshore wind service activities, driving high-performance delivery across safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets.
You will serve as the primary operational leader for our site maintenance activities, ensuring our offshore windfarms operate at peak performance. You will champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement, acting as the key point of contact for our customers while mentoring and developing a high-performing technical team. By integrating LEAN principles and fostering strong collaborative partnerships, you will ensure our projects meet rigorous production-based availability goals and contribute to a more sustainable energy future.
How You Will Make a Difference
Leading operational teams based at wind farms and on service operation vessels to ensure safe, high-quality maintenance delivery.
Driving the Production Based Availability operational plan to maximize energy output and customer synergy.
Building a culture of continuous improvement by implementing LEAN principles and retaining high-quality operational knowledge.
Collaborating with customer representatives as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operations and reporting.
Developing your team through recruitment support, competency development, and ongoing performance coaching.
Improving service delivery processes and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and site reliability.
Special Role Requirements
Ability and willingness to work offshore as required.
Skills for Success
You should be a motivated, results-oriented leader with:
A formal education in an engineering discipline or a professional technical apprenticeship with extensive professional experience is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
The ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a complex, global environment.
High capability with software (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other cloud-based platforms).
The capability to analyze and resolve operational challenges in a structured, data-driven manner.
An understanding of offshore wind maintenance operations and associated technical service processes.
An expertise in project management, including resource planning, scheduling, and budget tracking.
A keen interest in driving safety, quality, and performance excellence.
