Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Screening in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will manage access control, monitor entry points, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, attentive observation, and professional interactions. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit to the residential location by verifying visitors, deliveries, and authorized personnel according to post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around residential common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
