Accounting Assistant II

Duda and Sons, Inc. a privately owned company, recognized as #4 on Orlando Business Journal's Top 100 Privately held companies list in Central Florida has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Assistant II located at our Corporate Headquarters in Oviedo, FL.The Accounting Assistant II will be responsible for working with the Accounts Payable team on daily assigned tasks as well as assisting the different business locations and external vendors with questions or issues resolving them timely.

The Accounting Assistant II’s duties include the following:

• Review Invoice Journals/ADVs/POs and Posting payments
• Maintain Vendor Invoice Library daily by generating workflows for new vendor invoices and updating invoice status.  
• Log Invoice Journals/ADVs received from locations via Fedex and date stamp when received.
• Set up new vendors and maintain existing vendors in the Microsoft Dynamics AX system as requested. 
• Match posted General Journals to the daily posted report and send to the scan room.  Match e-mailed copies of posted DC or Dynamics AX journals to original when received and send to scan room. 
• Reconcile bank statements.  Generate payment journals for Auto-ACH vendors that have been matched to bank script and internal vendor clearing of payables. 

An Associate Degree in Accounting as well as 3 year of previous accounting experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing are also required.
