Description
Your responsibilities will include Responsible for Cost Model development of plastics &; Sheet Metal commodity, working in close interaction with the Design Team, and Product Management (Plant GSS) Team,Manufacturing Team. Apply familiarity with injection tools &; Sheet Metal dies , their components, and basic knowledge of other plastics/Sheet Metal processing methods and tooling. Support core activities in competitive manufacturing process analysis, including the creation and maintenance of status, trends, and reports. Provide direct input to communication matrices by partnering with the CAA Architecture Analysis team. Performing the costing for injection molding parts and Sheet Metal Parts. Educational Qualification: B.Tech/BE (Mechanical). Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. Basic knowledge of manufacturing/engineering processes, materials, and systems. Exposure or experience working in a global engineering team environment. TECHNICAL Conceptual &; Analytical Skills. Knowledge of Costing tools (such as aPriori DFMA) and basic awareness of costing tool applications. Knowledge of CAD tools (Creo 2.0 or 4.0) and PLM Software (Windchill). Basic knowledge of Data Analytics and Reporting Tools (Tableau / Data Studio). Expertise in Project Management tools (PMP trained/certified preferred).
