Overview
Senior Specialist, Home & Community Services
Status: Full-time, 37.5 hours per weekSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pmLocation: Camp Hill areaPay: $19.75 per hour
What We’re Looking For:
• 2 to 5 years of related experience preferred• Knowledge of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or aging populations• Valid driver’s license with at least 6 months of driving experience• Access to a vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection• 18 years of age• Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Strong organizational and leadership skills• Preferred: Associate degree or technical certification in a related field• Preferred: Familiarity with Chapter 51, 2380, and 6400 regulations
As a Senior Specialist in Home & Community, you’ll support individuals in living safe, meaningful, and independent lives. You’ll help coordinate supports, build strong relationships, and guide skill development while promoting dignity, choice, and personal growth.
What You’ll Do:
• Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with individuals receiving supports• Support personal growth, independence, and life skill development• Coordinate medical needs including scheduling appointments, transportation, and follow-up care• Help ensure safe, clean, and compliant home environments and assist with maintenance requests as needed• Develop and monitor individualized goal plans focused on skill-building and independence• Partner with individuals, families, team members, and community resources• Support program outcomes and quality improvement initiatives• Encourage engagement, confidence, and decision-making skills• Apply leadership strategies that support positive experiences for individuals and staff
