Description
As a Senior QA Developer, you will take on a key role in optimizing and evolving our testing area and process.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works proactively and plans ahead — someone who can drive testing activities forward while continuously improving how we work.
In this role, you will specify embedded software tests and verify the behavior of our signal processing algorithms, wireless protocols and operating systems. You will focus on test automation and on developing new tools and test systems for firmware testing.
The team you will join:
At GN Hearing, we combine scientific research with deep expertise in advanced hearing aids and accessories.
You will join Test Development, a team of 11 developers working closely with our Agile teams. Together, we develop, specify and verify features and integrated product platforms to ensure robust software functionality in new devices and products.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Oversee the entire verification process from specifying, planning and carrying out tests to evaluating and reporting your findings directly to the developers
Verify software functionality and ensure compliance with internal requirements, standards and regulations
Review and evaluate software requirements and design documentation
Follow up on test results and provide clear reporting and input to development teams
Contribute to improving test automation, tools and test environments for firmware testing
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
Hold a degree in computer science, engineering or similar
Bring solid experience with software testing and verification and have implemented test automation using C# or other OO programming languages
Can ensure timely test execution and development in an inspiring environment and have an interest in creating innovative test solutions and environments in collaboration with your colleagues
Have some technical knowledge of wireless protocols, hardware/software integration or experience with DevOps.
Can communicate clearly and collaborate well with colleagues across the organization.
Are someone who creates momentum. You do not wait for directions when action is needed. You take initiative and ownership, bring structure and help move work forward.
Enjoy improving ways of working and creating effective, innovative test solutions together with colleagues
Are fluent in English, spoken and written
At GN, we support flexible working whenever possible and trust our people to balance flexibility with the need for in-person collaboration.
