Our Fresh team is focused on delivering high-performing Produce and Butchery offers across the Co-op. Working closely with Members, suppliers and cross-functional teams, we use insights, data and continuous improvement to help drive growth and deliver great outcomes for our stores and customers.
Te Tūranga – About The Role
As our Produce and Butchery Optimisation Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting one of Foodies' most dynamic categories by turning data into actionable insights that drive performance and continuous improvement. Working across Produce and Butchery, you'll partner with stakeholders across Fresh, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, IT and our supplier network to optimise processes, improve decision-making and deliver positive business outcomes.
- Analyse and interpret operational and commercial data to generate insights and support decision making across Produce and Butchery.
- Present daily and weekly performance metrics, identify optimisation opportunities and help drive improvements through to completion.
- Support Business Managers & Category Managers with category analytics to drive strategy execution, sales performance and margin optimisation.
- Partner with Supply Chain, suppliers and Fresh operations teams to optimise processes from grower through to store.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation projects and the development of data-driven solutions that improve business performance.
What You’ll Bring
You're naturally curious, highly analytical and passionate about using data to drive better business outcomes. You enjoy solving problems, building relationships and working collaboratively across teams to deliver continuous improvement.
- Experience in business analysis, trend identification and problem solving.
- Strong analytical capability and a genuine interest in turning data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across a wide range of teams.
- Experience with analytical tools such as Power BI, Google Cloud Platform, advanced Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for optimisation, process improvement and continuous learning.
