Description
Responsibilities
-
Translate data pipeline and analytics requirements into analytics models and data pipeline designs; collaborate closely with architecture teams, external developers, data consumers, data providers, and business users.

Contribute to use case development, including facilitating workshops to gather and validate business requirements; align stakeholder expectations and address queries or issues efficiently.

Design and model ETL pipelines, including data structure, storage, integration, integrity checks, and reconciliation processes; standardize exception handling and ensure traceability for troubleshooting.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation covering functional and non-functional requirements.

Design scalable data models and platforms to support controlled growth while minimizing risk and cost for large-scale data environments.

Evaluate new data sources using structured data quality assessment approaches; analyze integration impacts on existing pipelines and models.

Bridge business requirements and ETL logic by investigating data discrepancies and implementing scalable solutions.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree or above in Project Management, Business Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in data migration, business intelligence, or data warehouse projects.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle or SQL Server SQL development.

Strong understanding of data quality metrics, data modeling, and architecture principles across master data, transactional data, and data warehousing.

Proficiency in stored procedures (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL) and SQL DDL/DML

Experience with Power BI, including data objects, report objects, and service objects across various use cases

Familiarity with Power BI and/or SSAS row-level security.

Experience using JSON APIs as data sources for Power BI reporting.

Knowledge of Power Query (M language) is an advantage.

Strong experience with Power BI integrated with SSAS multidimensional models.

Hands-on experience in SSAS model version control and deployment across development, testing, and production environments.

Exposure to Hadoop, Python, Java Spring Boot, Docker, or OpenShift (OCP) is an advantage.

Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
