Job Description

As a Security Guard Patrol Inspection Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and transportation facility guests while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and assist with directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports; communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
