Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Management in West Finley, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a reliable, caring team that values integrity, innovation, and collaboration at Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate logs, reports, and shift handoff information related to access-control activity, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
