MEP Senior / Lead Cost Manager (Data Centre Projects)

The Opportunity

In this role you will: 

• Actively participate in the tender/bid process--from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting
• Analyse cost reports and regularly review with senior management, as the MEP expert in the team 
• Conduct budget preparation including detailed cost modelling and benchmarking analysis, and reviews with senior management 
• Manage project costs against budget throughout your project, including cost reviews, value engineering, and cost saving initiatives to increase client value 
• Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication
• Foster top performance and growth for your team via excellent mentorship and leadership
• Lead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client valu

We would love to hear from you if you: 

• Are an experienced cost or commercial manager on large scale construction projects with increasing levels of leadership
• Have extensive cost manager experience focused on MEP, ideally from a consultancy background working on large and complex projects 
• Have an understanding of MEP Systems and ability to read services drawings and schematics
• Are RICS chartered or are on the path to complete it.  We can help 
• Have a degree or comparable qualification in construction, quantity surveying, mechanical or electrical engineering 
• Have a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and thrive in a fast paced environment 
• Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing 
• Are detail oriented and quality focused 
• Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines 

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
