If you love solving complex mechanical puzzles, mastering advanced fleet technology, and working with a crew that values your expertise, your next career milestone starts right here in Henderson!
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Master the Machinery: Diagnose, repair, and overhaul operational challenges for our heavy-duty diesel trucks, hydraulics, and specialized equipment.
Keep the Fleet Moving: Maintain and fine-tune a diverse lineup of heavy diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated vehicles.

Lead the Standard: Ensure safety is always the top priority. You'll strictly follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations to keep yourself and your team safe.
Collaborate & Mentor: Partner with the team to review mechanical write-ups, coordinate shop schedules, and help onboard and train incoming talent.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep your skills sharp and stay up-to-date on the latest industry technology through hands-on practice, technical manuals, and corporate training seminars.
Run a Tight Ship: Bring your own personal hand/power tools to the table, keep them ready for action, and maintain a spotless, organized work area.
What You Bring (Requirements)
Education: High school diploma or GED; a technical diploma or degree in diesel mechanics is a huge plus!
Experience: At least one (1) year of dedicated experience working as a diesel mechanic.
Tech Savvy: You are computer literate, eager to learn specialized diagnostic software, and ready to adapt to new digital tools.
Compliance: Ability to pass and meet all company standards for safety-sensitive roles.

Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
The independence to take a work order, follow detailed instructions, and run with it.
Ability to comfortably read, understand, and utilize English repair and parts manuals.
Capability to safely operate any fleet vehicle or heavy equipment necessary to get the job done.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
The Heavy Lifting: You're hands-on and active. You will regularly lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds and handle heavy tools daily.
Agility: Comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crawling, and climbing to get to the heart of a machine.
Sharp Focus: High mental and visual focus required—including strong depth perception and color vision to diagnose complex wiring and mechanical issues.
The Shop Environment: You thrive in a dynamic shop environment. You’ll regularly work around loud noise, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and varying North Carolina weather conditions.
