Billing Administrator

Our GFL site in Pickering, ON is looking for a Billing Administrator who will be responsible for the timely and accurate entry of various reports as required, processing of credit notes in OMS, reconciliation of payments, bank deposits, credit card entries in GP, solving billing related issues, and responding to customer queries related to billing. This position is also responsible for coordinating with Accounts Receivable to follow up with customers regarding payment status. This position is working fully in office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing of credits cards.
• Update/entry in various excel reports as required.
• Creating credits for various business units across Canada.
• Review of credit requests to ensure proper signing authority has signed off on the request.
• Reconciling payments received from drivers in the form of cheques or cash.
• Bank deposits for cash payments received.
• Communicate with customers to assist with researching billing questions and providing supporting documentation.
• Liaison with collectors to assist with overdue payments on customer accounts as requested.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
• Review and maintain ON billing email.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

• Previous experience is considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Computer literacy, including effective working skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience in the waste industry is considered an asset.
• High School Diploma or GED, Associate’s Degree preferred
