Description
Service Project Supervisor
Manage controls, mechanical, and electrical projects consisting in major repairs, design and build, or new installations. Leads the service team to produce services required to keep buildings in shape and under budget, exceeding customer expectations consistently.
. Job Description & Responsibilities
- Plan, manage resources and procurement, and execute all work required within assigned region or contracts.
- Supervise and lead installation technicians to produce high quality projects and services achieving profit targets.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise HVAC Techs, Electricians, Mechanics, and Handyman daily activities to achieve maximum production while prioritizing customer request.
- Assist Services Department to coordinate services and supervise service technicians.
- Maximizes manpower utilization and minimizes unallocated time.
- Regularly visits jobs in progress to inspect the quality of work performed and to provide on-the-job training and technical support to field personnel.
- Perform periodic walk thru inspections to all assigned projects in order to assure high craftmanship, quality control, and contract compliance.
- Standardise use project documentation, reporting and procedures.
- Communicate with existing and potential new customers regarding their project needs.
- Responsible for the budget control of assigned projects.
- Assure that operational process are performed aligned with main office: Estimates, Proposals, Booking Packages, Work Orders, Service Reports, Invoices, Purchase Orders, Schedules, Submittals and RFI Logs.
- Ensures the quality, standardization, profitability, and timeliness of all service department production, billing, paperwork, project estimates, etc.
- Maintains an adequate level of customer interaction and personal selling activity.
- Prepare operations and sales report on a monthly basis.
- Promote CARE program and customers Total Satisfaction thru excellence service and follow up.
- Resolves customer disputes about services performed.
- Aid the accounting department in the collections efforts making sure that all work is backed by a purchase order and make sure that change orders are generated and approved as needed in a timely manner.
- Conduct quarterly meetings with suppliers to review contract compliance, goals, milestones, and planning of special jobs.
- Identify and implement energy efficiency measures.
- Promote ASI’s uniform code for service technicians and employees.
- Conduct monthly meetings with techs reinforce ASI’s service culture, safety, soft skills, and technical training.
- Promote and manage with ASI Safety Officer a culture to achieve Zero Accident service department and Reporting. “Promotes Total Compliance” culture among employees. Assure on time reporting and investigation of Near Misses, Incidents, and Accidents as per ASI’s safety policy.
- Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, evaluation, and termination as needed.
- In charge of performing employee evaluations, at least once a year.
- Assist Account Sales rep(s) on service and project proposals such as repairs, maintenance, and equipment installations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related degree preferred
- Minimum experience 3-5 years in related field Engineer.
- Decision making and problem solving oriented
- Experience in computer programs, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet.
- Ability to work under pressure and for long periods
- Fully bilingual (Spanish and English, oral and written)
