Your Role:  

Position Summary:

The (Sr.) Manufacturing Specialist  DSP is responsible for executing viral vector manufacturing activities in a cGMP environment supporting gene therapy, cell therapy, and vaccine production. The role focuses on downstream processing operations, including chromatography, filtration, and purification, ensuring compliant batch execution and reliable delivery of high-quality products from clinical to commercial stages.

The position supports technology transfer, manufacturing readiness, troubleshooting, deviation management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in Drug Product (DP) manufacturing, including aseptic processing and fill-finish operations, is an advantage.

Siegfried DINAMIQS is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Schlieren-Zurich, Switzerland, specializing in the manufacturing of viral vector gene therapies. DINAMIQS became part of Siegfried's global network in 2023 and is now looking to grow its dedicated team of experts by hiring a Manufacturing Specialist / Sr. Manufacturing Specialist. - Execute DSP operations including chromatography, filtration, TFF, and UF/DF in a cGMP environment.

- Perform manufacturing activities according to batch records, SOPs, and GMP requirements.

- Prepare, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment.

- Perform manufacturing support activities, including cleaning, monitoring, buffer preparation, material handling, and inventory management.

- Support technology transfer and process implementation into manufacturing.

- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues during manufacturing operations.

- Support deviation investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA implementation.

- Ensure accurate and timely completion of GMP documentation and electronic systems (MES, LIMS, SAP).

- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Process Development, and Analytical teams.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field with 3–6 years of relevant experience, ora Master's degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical, gene therapy, cell therapy, or viral vector manufacturing with a focus on DSP.
• Hands-on experience with chromatography, filtration, and TFF/UF-DF operations.
• Working knowledge of cGMP regulations, cleanroom operations, aseptic processing, and GMP documentation.
• Experience with manufacturing systems such as MES, LIMS, or SAP is preferred.
• Experience in Drug Product manufacturing (formulation, sterile filtration, aseptic fill-finish) is a plus.
• Experience writing and maintaining SOPs and work instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to support flexible working hours, including weekends.
• English speaking and writing, German is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Viral vector purification processes (e.g., AAV, lentivirus, adenovirus).
• DSP operations including chromatography, TFF, UF/DF, and filtration.
• GMP batch execution, documentation, and electronic manufacturing systems.
• Manufacturing process and equipment troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of contamination control and aseptic manufacturing practices.
