Your New Role...
The Business Resilience Senior Manager will report to the Senior Director or Director, Business Resilience and will be responsible for maintaining an effective Crisis Management, Response and Business Continuity program for Warner Bros. Discovery Global operations. This position requires effective business partnership and a strategic approach to deliver results through the design, management, and execution across several areas of the business. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for executing through project teams, managing and mentoring junior team members, and serving as a subject matter expert across various business areas. This global role requires building and maintaining strong partnerships across all levels of the organization and includes off-hours availability and travel requirements.

Your Role Accountabilities...
Lead the design and delivery of crisis management, response, and business continuity programmes, defining project scope, timelines, stakeholders, resources, and strategic priorities to mitigate business risk.
Build trusted partnerships with business leaders, vendors, and stakeholders to drive alignment, influence decision-making, and implement resilience objectives and process improvements.
Manage and mentor Business Resilience team members while leading cross-functional project teams in the development, testing, training, and execution of resilience plans across global business units.
Ensure resilience programmes align with company standards, industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and local legal obligations, translating risk mitigation strategies into actionable implementation plans.
Provide crisis and disaster response support, including off-hours incident management, executive escalation, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience...
Significant experience in business continuity, risk management, business process analysis, consulting, or a related field.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience; CBCP certification required (MBCP preferred).
Additional certifications such as CEM, EMCP, CISSA, CISSP, or PMP are advantageous.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and experience analysing and improving business processes.
Experience presenting to senior executives and leading complex, cross-functional projects in a global environment.
Knowledge of technologies used in media and entertainment environments and experience with business continuity software (e.g., Fusion Framework) preferred.
Experience using emergency notification tools (e.g., AtHoc) and supporting crisis or incident response activities.
