RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the US Service email and inbox by triage, responding and routing requests
- Act as single point of contact for each customer from first contact thru delivery
- Send proactive service reminders
- Keep customers informed of all aspects of the service order
- Quote training, field service, and other Burkert services using a standard rate card and quote template
- Coordinate with inside sales on formal quote issuance
- Manage timing and progress of active calibration jobs
- Provide proactive status updates to customers throughout the calibration process
- Flag and process purchase order increases during calibration (repairs, upsells)
- Attend shop floor regularly to maintain visibility of active job status
- Unbox returned devices and receive in each serial number
- Prepare units for production, create manual repair orders for discontinued devices
- Coordinate inbound parts and shipments with factories overseas
- Box completed devices and close RMA’s
- Follow up with Inside Sales to confirm delivery notes are printed
- Follow up with outbound team to confirm shipments are cleared
- Maintain accurate service documentation throughout each job
- Report on calibration throughput, open jobs, and bottlenecks
- Escalate delays proactively – both internally and to the customer

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong end-to-end customer ownership mindset
- Ability to work proactively
- Ability to work with a team and self-directed
- Ability to have clear written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple open jobs simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- 2-5 years’ experience in customer service, service coordination, or operations
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office
- Experience using SAP preferred
- Quick learner, receptive to coaching, and collaborative.
- Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
- High energy, quality minded, initiative-taking, and goal oriented
