Maintenance Technician
Location: Uppsala, Sweden
At Galderma, we are dedicated to advancing dermatology for every skin story. We are now looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Uppsala. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations in a highly regulated and innovative environment.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment and facilities. You will support the execution of repair and maintenance activities, contribute to equipment installations and upgrades, and help ensure that maintenance programs are delivered in line with business needs and operational requirements.
Working closely with colleagues across Maintenance, Engineering, and Production, you will help maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing environment while continuously seeking opportunities to improve maintenance practices and processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Execute planned and corrective maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment and systems.
· Support installation, repair, maintenance, dismantling, and relocation of industrial equipment.
· Monitor maintenance activities and ensure work is completed according to established plans, procedures, and standards.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans, programs, and processes.
· Support the administration and continuous improvement of maintenance-related procedures and policies.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
· Support transformation initiatives and continuous improvements within the maintenance function.
· Apply established maintenance procedures, policies, and technical practices to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
· Build strong working relationships across the organization and contribute to knowledge sharing and teamwork.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
· Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
· Approximately 2–5 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, production, or another industrial environment.
· Good technical understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance processes.
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a structured and efficient manner.
· Strong collaboration and communication skills.
· A proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving.
· Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
