This position is a specialist Wholesale Finance Credit Management role and is not an IT role. The role does not include responsibility for IT strategy, software development, systems administration, technical support, infrastructure management, or technology project delivery.

The primary responsibilities relate to financial analysis, credit risk assessment, facility management, security documentation, portfolio monitoring, policy adherence, and stakeholder engagement.

• Analyse Wholesale Finance Dealers’ financial statements , business plan, sales volumes and conduct reports to assess creditworthiness and determine their ability to service the approved facility.
• Ensure adherence to defined turnaround time benchmarks.
• Analyse dealer reports to determine the volumes, quality and dealer support, as well as

• Request and manage outstanding Financial Statements as stipulated in the Absa Credit policy.
• Explore new, improved, and alternative ways of solutioning client credit requirements.
• Adhere to Bank’s credit policies and procedures and ensure that they are fully complied with and that any policy breaches have been suitably addressed and mitigated.

• Manage and drive the deal forum process to ensure quality applications are submitted to the sanctioners with sustainable credit solutions
• Analyse the usage of the Wholesale Finance activity, to determine risks and make recommendation/solutions to increase/decrease facility.
• Negotiate the changes to decrease/increase Wholesale Finance facilities with the dealer as soon as Credit is approved or decline on facility.
• Prepare credit application for new facility and negotiate with credit.
• Support retail business by negotiating possible rates with potential wholesale finance dealers.
• Accountable for targeted facility and utilisation growth within their portfolio
• Manage review date process (listings applicable [e.g .30/60/90 day listing; review letters, and follow up’s for information required)

Security and Risk Management

• Prepare all security documentation of approved facilities, e.g. Wholesale Finance agreement, Landlord waiver, Fast system forms, Debit Order, etc and other relevant documentation
• Prepare contract/agreements, after the facility is approved.

 Compile reviews, amendments, and new applications to the appropriate lending authorities.

• Monitor the review process weekly by following up with sales platforms on outstanding reviews and report to relevant stakeholders.

• Issue facility letters to clients after reviews have been compiled and new facilities granted.
• Draft and issue letters of reminder when facilities expire according to policy requirements, for example 30-, 60- and 90-day letters.
• Contribute to the Non‐Interest Income by ensuring recovery of manual fees (e.g., Reviews, valuations) to avoid revenue leakages.

Education

Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Physical, Mathematical, Computer and Life Sciences (Required)
