Description
Every Watermill Express employee is expected to perform his or her job in a professional manner to provide the best possible service to our customers.
Starting Pay- $23.00-$26.00
Essential Functions:
- Manage utility installation projects for new Watermill Express units from initial planning through completion, including water, sewer, and electrical connections.
- Coordinate with utility companies, municipalities, and permitting agencies to secure service connections, easements, and required approvals.
- Plan and oversee utility upgrade projects at existing locations, prioritizing based on operational need and budget.
- Track project timelines, costs, and vendor performance; proactively identify and resolve delays or issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of permits, utility agreements, contracts, and project files.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and utility company codes and regulations.
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to leadership and cross-functional teams (Development, Operations, Construction).
- Travel to project and site locations as needed to inspect work and manage on-site issues.
- Regular and predictable attendance for required schedule.
- Follow safety guidelines and act in a safe manner.
- All other duties assigned.

- Working knowledge of utility systems (water, sewer, electrical) and municipal permitting processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and vendors simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Experience with multi-unit retail, convenience store, or restaurant construction/development.
- Construction Management or related degree.
- Prior experience working directly with utility companies and municipal permitting offices.
