Job Description
Chariot has proven demand for a new subscription software solution for grantmakers (e.g. DAF providers). This platform was originally co-designed with 6 DAF sponsors, and has since signed 20 more programs with activity levels growing exponentially. We expect this innovation to be revolutionary for DAF operations and grantmakers' relationships with nonprofit recipients.
Your job over the next 12โ18 months will be to own relationships with DAFs, workplace giving platforms, and other "payers" end-to-end , from prospecting through trusted relationships to signed contracts, so that Chariot can grow into a core piece of giving infrastructure that every grantmaker touches.
What you'll do:
-
Own end-to-end sales pipeline from prospecting through signed contracts with DAFs, Foundations, financial institutions, and other technology platforms.
-
Steward key, long-term relationships with DAF + Foundation partners
-
Increase product usage by identifying high-value integration and collaboration opportunities
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for Disbursements partners โ combining personalized support, strategic guidance, and scalable communications
-
Channel insights from our partners to the product team to inform roadmap and feature development
๐ค About You
-
Institutional deal experience โ You've sold into or partnered with big, complex institutions, navigating procurement, legal, committees, and internal politics. Sales or sales-adjacent experience counts; a traditional AE ladder is not required.
-
Relationship Builder โ You're excellent with people and build trust quickly, even in bureaucratic, process-heavy, high-trust environments. You lead with credibility-building and de-risking, not the pitch.
-
Communication โ Clear, engaging, concise, and persuasive with savvy, institutional buyers
-
Resilience & Patience โ Long cycles and blockers outside your control don't discourage you. You know how to keep a relationship warm when the next step is nine months out.
-
Hustle โ You're scrappy, adaptable, and find creative ways to move deals forward
-
Curious & Strategic โ You ask smart questions, spot opportunities others miss, and want to understand the full picture (product, roadmap, and infrastructure)
-
Bonus: philanthropy/DAF-ecosystem background or sector relationships
