About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with experience in ServiceNow to lead & drive the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Workplace Services Delivery (WSD) module within the ServiceNow platform.
- This role will be responsible for leading end-to-end solution delivery, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, mentoring team members, and ensuring scalable, high-quality implementations aligned with organizational goals.
- The ideal candidate will have strong ServiceNow platform expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience managing complex enterprise initiatives while balancing business priorities, governance, and technical excellence.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Additional Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow Workplace Services Delivery (WSD), Employee Center, and related modules.
- Proven experience leading ServiceNow projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, workflows, integrations, and data models.
- Experience with JavaScript, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and Service Portal.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and enterprise delivery processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in Workplace Services Delivery or related modules.
- Experience with ITSM, HRSD, Employee Experience, or Workplace Services solutions.
- Exposure to enterprise integrations with HR, Facilities, and third-party workplace management systems.
- Experience working with global teams across multiple geographies.
- Knowledge of platform governance, architecture reviews, and release management practices.
- Experience leading offshore/onshore delivery models.

- Mentor team members and contribute to building a high-performing ServiceNow practice.
