As a Security Officer - Financial Corporate Building in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, using teamwork and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and sharing information through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and/or report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or maintenance-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support closing, opening, and after-hours routines as assigned, which may include checking doors, lighting, and/or other designated areas in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
