Overview

This role involves working with disabled children in crisis situations at Cardinham Barns, an 8-acre residential facility near Bodmin. You'll provide time-limited specialist residential care and outreach support to help children recover from traumatic experiences. The position requires experience supporting children with complex needs and challenging behaviors, remaining calm under pressure, and making autonomous decisions. You'll work with a multi-disciplinary team using trauma-informed, low-arousal approaches to support children's recovery and reunification with families.
