Job Description

As a Security Officer Enhanced Commercial in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a dynamic location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset while bringing reliability, agility, and innovation to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, first responders, and/or site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activities, and/or notable observations, and support ongoing awareness of security-related concerns at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
