Night Shift | Wednesday–Saturday

Sign‑On Bonus Eligible: $2,500

Join United Health Services (UHS) and play a critical role in supporting safe, high‑quality patient care during our night shift. We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II to work Wednesday through Saturday nights, providing essential support to our surgical and clinical teams.
In this role, you will work under general direction to perform a full range of Sterile Processing Department (SPD) responsibilities, ensuring the proper reprocessing, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instrumentation and medical devices.

You will follow UHS Sterile Processing and Infection Control policies, accurately interpret, maintain, and document sterilization records in the electronic instrument tracking system, and support UHS inpatient units, off‑site clinical areas, and outpatient clinics.

Compensation Range:

$19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience

Minimum Requirements :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year experience in SPD (certified or uncertified)

Preferred:

• Surgical inventory experience

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• (HSPA) Certified and Registered Central Service Technician -CRCST OR
• (CBSPD) Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician- CSPDT

Preferred:

• HSPA additional to CRCST
  • Certified Instrument Specialist – CIS
  • Certified Endoscope Reprocessor – CER
• CBSPD addition to CSPDT
  • Certified Ambulatory Surgery Sterile Processing Technician – CASSPT
  • Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor – CFER
  • Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist – CSIS
