As a Sales Assistant based in Whitby you’ll be responsible for:
Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders which will involve manual handling of heavy items like boilers, radiators, toilets, sinks etc.
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am to 5.00pm and 1 in 2 Saturdays, working 8:00am - 12:00pm, paid as overtime.

UK driving license will be preferential.
Previous face to face sales and customer service experience.
To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
To be comfortable lifting heavy items
