Global Product Manager

## About this Role

Role Purpose

Vodafone today serves customers across a range of segments (MNC, Mid-Large corporate, Public Sector) with a broad range of Cloud and Edge solutions. This role will be responsible for supporting the development of a compelling portfolio of products and services working closely with members of the Digital Services cluster team, other product lines and product teams in Vodafone markets.

This role lets you build a wide range of product management skills. You’ll need to adjust priorities as business needs change, understand customers and markets across different countries, and work with various internal teams and external partners to deliver products successfully.

Candidates should have solid experience of Product Management, cloud technologies and be able to demonstrate an ability to work with diverse teams to deliver projects on-time and in-budget

## What you’ll do

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Actively participate in the development of portfolio strategy (3-5-year horizon) aligned to global business and commercial priorities (e.g. revenue growth and new customer acquisition).
• Ownership and accountability of product elements of the wider cloud & edge product portfolio including scope, business commercials, P&L and revenue growth forecasts.
• Work with Vodafone and Partner Markets to capture and translate customer needs into clear product capabilities and features or to optimise existing products.
• Overseeing and coordinating product development to ensure necessary leadership, governance, funding and key deliverables are achieved on time and to quality, working with respective Technology Product Leads.
• Identifying/working with product partners and determining how they will support the creation of new products.
• Propose and lead actions to improve product quality and customer experience.
• Support all in-life and end-of-life requirements to optimise global product performance, capability and commercials, initiating resolving actions where necessary

## Who you are

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Experience of Product Management including cloud, DevOps and managed services.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms from a service provider perspective
• Experience with opensource platforms is highly valued
• Good understanding of cloud technology, ICT professional and managed services.
• Knowledge of AI technology and principles would be beneficial
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to tackle obstacles and drive business outcomes
• Ability to lead on behalf of their product during product development and when in-life.
• Experience working with commercial teams, technology functions and technology vendors.
• Experience working in an international business setting, with different nationalities and cultures.
• Experience working with commercial and financial principles including pricing models, vendor management and P&
