A day in the life... As a Sous Chef, your creativity and willingness to participate in curating seasonal menus and designing new dishes, involving locally sourced ingredients drives you.  There is also the administrative side of life that is important.
You own this if you are… Experienced in leading culinary teams as a Sous Chef, are eager to learn, teach and take pride in your work. Reliable, have a flexible mind-set and like to share your knowledge with your team. Willing to assist the Executive Chef in driving a successful culinary program.

Requirements

- Key Responsibilities:

- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

- Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Lead a culinary team with minimal direct supervision

- Complete Line Checks / Ensure proper line builds / verify food quality & consistency / Recipe Book Maintenance / Cost Awareness   

   (waste, yields, portion controls) / Staff Cafe Menu / Ordering / Monthly Inventory

- Ensure team completes required training

-Execute assignments from Executive Chef
