PCB Design Engineer �� Location: Cowes | �� 6-Month Contract | �� Hybrid Working - 3-4 days a week onsite | �� £51.60 PAYE or £69.65 Umbrella BAE Systems is looking for an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join a specialist electronics team supporting advanced defence programmes. Key Responsibilities Design complex PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro. Deliver PCB designs from concept through to manufacture. Produce manufacturing data packs and technical documentation. Support design reviews, verification and qualification activities. Resolve technical issues across the product lifecycle. Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Skills & Experience Strong PCB design experience within a complex engineering environment. Proficient in Cadence Allegro (essential). Experience with multi-layer, high-speed digital, RF and mixed-signal PCB design. Knowledge of EMC/EMI design principles and PCB qualification. Familiarity with flexible PCBs, controlled impedance and advanced via technologies. Qualifications HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience. CEng status or working towards Chartered Engineer level desirable.
