We're assisting a startup in the manufacturing tech space with their search for fullstack engineers. They're building a network of autonomous factories that manufacture the component parts inside every rocket, jet, drone, submarine, and munition in the US arsenal . The role will work onsite in the Buda, TX office, and they're hiring multiple engineers in this capacity.
What you'll do:
- Scope, architect, build, and ship full-stack software across the proprietary OS
- Work on software close to the physical world: machines, sensors, robotics, manufacturing workflows, and 3D/CAD/CAM data
- Engage directly with machinists, operators, and CMM technicians to understand problems and turn them into shipped software
- Work on a small team of engineers and operators that moves fast
- Deploy into a live manufacturing environment, watch what breaks or slows people down, and improve it quickly
- Help build the software and processes that will allow them to replicate this factory model across the US
Ideal candidate traits:
- You want high stakes and fast iteration. We make parts for rockets, jets, drones, ships, and other critical systems, so speed, quality, and reliability matter.
- You own your work from idea to deployment, and you act without waiting to be told.
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping real products.
- 2 - 7 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with strong Python and Django experience
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (ITAR eligible)
- Strong ML knowledge (fine-tuning models)
Nice to haves:
- Built factory, ERP, or industrial/hardware-adjacent software
- Shipped user-facing products with direct end-user feedback loops
- Experience with computational geometry, CAD/CAM, or robotics software
