Sanimax is looking to hie a Route Planning Specialist in our Deforest WI location.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan route optimization based on monthly and weekly customer pickups planned in collaboration with the Transportation teams.
- Review and update planning information and forecasted customer pickups to ensure data integrity, customer service and efficient routing.
- Monitor planned routes against actual results to improve overall route efficiency.
- Perform key data analysis and maintenance activities to support efficient and improved processes.
Education and Experience
- Degree in Logistics, Transportation, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics, with experience as a Transportation Planner or Dispatcher strongly preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to plan and coordinate transportation routes locally and over longer distances while working with a central planning team.
- Knowledge of transportation and routing software used to plan and optimize routes, such as Ortec, Roadshow or Roadnet.
- Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to proactively identify cost efficiencies.
- Ability to work autonomously and with a sense of urgency.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office combined with strong analytical skills.
