Job Title: Cook / Cashier
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious meals while also managing cash register operations. This dual role requires a passion for food and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers.
- Assist in inventory management and stock control.
- Follow health and safety regulations in food preparation and handling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen and front-of-house operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cooking or food preparation role preferred.
- Cash handling experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
