What You Will Do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and building core product capabilities for a rapidly scaling AI-powered compliance platform.

You will:

• Design, build, and ship new product features across the full stack, with a strong focus on backend systems.

• Develop scalable backend services using Python and Django while contributing to modern frontend applications built with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Architect systems capable of processing and analyzing large volumes of compliance-related data.

• Take end-to-end ownership of product areas—from design and development to deployment and ongoing improvements.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering leaders to deliver high-impact features.

• Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability as the platform grows.

• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.

• Mentor junior engineers and help maintain a high standard for engineering quality and best practices.

This is a highly visible role where engineers ship frequently and see their work directly impact real customers.

Ideal Candidate Background

We’re looking for engineers who thrive in fast-moving environments and enjoy building impactful products from the ground up.

Strong candidates will have:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building production-grade applications.

• Strong backend engineering experience, particularly with Python and Django.

• Experience building modern frontend applications using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks.

• Experience designing and deploying systems on AWS or other cloud platforms.

• A track record of owning and shipping features end-to-end.

• Experience contributing to system design and architectural decisions.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills when working across teams.

• A product-oriented mindset with empathy for end users.

• Experience working at high-growth startups or fast-paced SaaS companies.

• Background in fintech, regtech, or compliance-related products.
